Jason Callahan

Jason Callahan is the CISO at Lam Research.
Mr. Callahan has over 25 years of information security and technology leadership experience at a host of enterprises, including Fortune 150 companies, the Department of Defense, financial institutions, and life sciences and energy corporations. He has a demonstrated, authentic record of developing high-performance organizations.
Mr. Callahan began his career in the United States Air Force, where he held both physical and information security functions. After leaving the Air Force, he went on to launch a successful private cybersecurity consulting firm, before co-founding the security program at Illumina, the world’s largest biotechnology company. At Illumina, Mr. Callahan formerly served in two professional capacities. As the CISO, he was responsible for developing the enterprise security program strategy and execution, while also defining the security standards for Illumina’s high-tech products and cloud-based solutions. As the Head of Global Infrastructure & Operations, Callahan was responsible for supporting all facets of enterprise technology platforms and high- performance computing.
Mr. Callahan holds an M.B.A. from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and a B.A. in IT. He serves on the board of directors for the San Diego CISO Round Table and is the Vice Chairman on the board of directors for Villa Musica, a nonprofit musical arts education center for the entire San Diego County student population.
