Meet Dhani Abey

Dhani Abey is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with extensive experience across various industry verticals. Currently, Dhani serves as the Director of Security Copilot for Microsoft’s State and Local Government Operating Unit, leading all go-to-market efforts on using generative AI for cybersecurity. Additionally, as part of Microsoft’s M12 Expert Network, she advises portfolio companies on market strategies and revenue attainment. Her career includes roles at Cylance Inc., Netscout/Arbor Networks, Hewlett-Packard, and Blackberry, and she frequently speaks at industry events on AI and cybersecurity.

Committed to contributing to the success of others, Dhani serves as an Academic Board Advisor and adjunct professor at CUNY Borough of Manhattan Community College, shaping the cybersecurity certification curriculum and educating her students not just from a textbook, but based on industry trends and real-world use cases.
