For eight years, he served as SVP & CIO of the Commodities and Commercial Markets division of McGraw-Hill Financial, a $1B branch of McGraw-Hill Financial’s $5B global information organization. There, he developed and successfully executed a large-scale digital transformation program across multiple businesses within McGraw-Hill. He also served for six years as VP, Business Development & Technology at USATODAY.com, leading the development and implementation of innovative digital technologies to facilitate business growth.

In early 2014, Mr. Bouten founded Digital Prism Advisors, a company that guides established businesses through their most important investment of the next decade – mastering the digital marketplace. He and his team of experienced consultants understand how any business can become a disruptor in the digital ecosystem through the strategic application of technology.
