Banesh Prabhu

Banesh Prabhu is the CEO and Chief Strategy Advisor of IntellectDesign Arena’s insurance and data management vertical. He is also a member of IntellectDesign’s Executive Committee, and helps design and manage significant digital transformations for the company’s 200+ clients globally.

Prabhu is a Fintech Services veteran and pioneer in Technology & Operations management. He has developed and globally executed strategies in digital transformation and client servicing.

Prabhu has managed senior global responsibilities in Operations, Distribution and Technology for over 35 years, of which 23 years were in Citibank where he was responsible for servicing clients in 55+ international markets directly managing several billion in expenses p.a. During these years, he pioneered the creation of several global Centers of Excellence for Operations and Technology that included implementing significant digital services. He was also a member of Citigroup Global Consumer Planning Group, Citigroup Global Information Technology Council and Citigroup Global Operations Council.

After Citibank, Prabhu worked for Siam Commercial Bank, one of Thailand’s leading universal banking groups. There, he was a member of the Executive Committee and head of the Technology & Operations Group. After Siam Commercial Bank, Prabhu went to Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Senior Advisor.

Prabhu is a Fintech/IOT Investor and Partner in Green Shores Capital, a U.K. FCA approved fund. Green Shores Capital is a co-investment growth fund typically investing in Pre-Series A and Series A firms. He is also an Investor and Member of the Excom of GlobalLinker, a business networking platform solution for SMEs and startups. Prabhu has received several awards and has appeared as a speaker and panelist at major events globally.
