Christopher Barron

Christopher Barron currently serves as the Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Our Daily Bread Ministries, where he leads the organization’s digital and technology initiatives.
He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at EMF Broadcasting’s K-LOVE and Air1 Radio Networks. Barron holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Idaho and holds two post-graduate degrees: an M.B.A. from Phoenix University and an M.Sc. in Management and Systems from New York University.
Mr. Barron started his career as an engineer, which was a great foundation for his migration into technology. He has enjoyed leadership roles and pushing himself to the limits of what can be accomplished, and says:
“One of the greatest joys that I’ve found is in taking paths that other people may not tread, knowing that I would have to stretch and reach further. The best fruit is always on the top of the tree.” 
Mr. Barron brings more than twenty-two years of experience to K-LOVE and Air1. Recently, he started praying for the Lord to place him in a job where he could use his talents to further God’s work.
“I’ve never been more thankful to be at a place … I feel the call to pour myself out for this ministry; because I believe it has an incredible impact.”
He leads the following team(s) of ministry professionals: Enterprise Applications, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Service Excellence, Studio Technology, Media Delivery, Technology Innovation
Mr. Barron and his wife, Rosa, live in Northern California with their three children Alexander, Isabella and Orion. As a family, they enjoy traveling and look forward to visiting Mr. Barron’s ancestral homelands in Switzerland, someday.
