Conrad Fernandes

Conrad Fernandes is the Chief Commercial Officer at LI-COR Environmental. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Teledyne LeCroy, a leader in electronic test and measurement instrumentation. Before that, he was the Vice President of Asia Business Development for the Electronic and Environmental Measuring business at Teledyne Corporation. Teledyne provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets, including aerospace and defense, deepwater oil and gas, oceanographic research, air and water quality monitoring, electronic design, factory automation, and medical imaging.

Fernandes earned an Electronic Engineering degree from NIHE (now the University of Limerick) in Ireland and an MBA from City University Business School (now Cass Business School) in London. He is currently a PhD candidate at the International School of Management in Paris, focusing on managing risk in foreign direct investment.

Fernandes has lived and worked in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, and China and is now based in New York. He speaks French, Mandarin Chinese proficiently, and German and Japanese with limited proficiency. Reflecting his interest in international business, he recently presented a paper on the venture capital industry in China at the 2016 IABD conference.
