Eric Brown

Eric D. Brown, D.Sc., is the Owner of Draco Ventures LLC, an angel investing firm focused on early-stage startup investments and building startups from scratch. He is also the Founder of The Workshop List, a platform that provides marketing services for photographers offering workshops. This service enables photographers to list, promote, and search for workshops.

Prior to his current roles, Dr. Brown served as the Chief Information Officer and Partner at Sundial Capital Research, the publisher of SentimenTrader.com, a provider of financial market sentiment research and services for both individual and institutional investors.

Dr. Brown holds a Doctor of Science in Information Systems from Dakota State University, specializing in Data Science and Decision Science. His doctoral research focused on analyzing Twitter messages for sentiment and insight in stock market decision-making. This research led him to his current role as CIO at Sundial Capital Research, where he oversees IT and Marketing Technology.

With over 20 years of experience in technology across various industries and leadership roles in IT and Marketing Technology, Dr. Brown has a broad background in technology and has led teams in North and South America. He also holds an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Dallas, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
