Gary Edwards

Gary Edwards is a seasoned industry leader and management consultant, with decades of experience advising growth-focused business leaders in Canada, the US, and the UK. Gary is recognized for his expertise in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance market positions and customer loyalty. Exceptional evidence-based leadership skills combined with practical experience overseeing the growth of sales, marketing, client success, and data science.

As co-founder of Golfdale Consulting, Gary’s mission is to solve complex business challenges concentrating on three areas: global market research, the application of data science, and advocacy for evidence-based regulatory reform. Current research work focuses on cybersecurity, privacy, and financial inclusion.

Gary previously was co-owner and Chief Customer Officer at Empathica (now InMoment), a software company pioneering Customer Experience Management. Prior, Gary served as SVP and Country Manager of Gallup Canada, providing strategic market insights to global industries.

Gary began his early career in research as an epidemiologist in the field of mental health. Gary has a Hon BA (Psych) from the University of Western Ontario and an M.A. (Psych), PhD (Social Work) from Wilfrid Laurier University specializing in social research methods and statistics.
