Jane Aboyoun

Jane Aboyoun is the Fractional/Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Fortium Partners. Previously, she served as the CIO at SCO Family of Services.

Ms. Aboyoun formerly held the position of Officer and Vice President, Technology, at the New York Public Library, the second-largest public library in the United States, behind the Library of Congress. In this role, she was responsible for developing the technology strategy and execution plan to propel the New York Public Library from a beloved city institution to a digital powerhouse in the 21st century. Ms. Aboyoun played a pivotal role as the architect of a complex, multi-year technology transformation that impacted 88 branch libraries and four scholarly research facilities. The New York Public Library serves over 17 million users in person on-site and millions more online.

Before her tenure at the New York Public Library, Ms. Aboyoun held executive technology positions at various global organizations. She served as the CTO for Asset International Inc., a leading provider of critical data, business intelligence, and information services for the global investment management community. Additionally, she held the CIO position for Bertelsmann Media, a direct marketer of books, music, and DVDs to millions of members online. Ms. Aboyoun also served as the CIO for Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier, a B2B publishing organization with over 100+ publications, 75 web properties, and numerous online products.

Ms. Aboyoun holds an MBA in International Business from The University of Connecticut and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Syracuse University. She has also completed a Strategic Leadership program at Harvard University. Currently, Ms. Aboyoun resides with her family in Brooklyn, NY.
