John Walsh

John Walsh currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Vori Health, with prior experience as the CTO of Zipari.
Walsh was formerly the VP and CTO of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield New Jersey, the state’s largest health insurer, with over 3.8 million members. In this role, Walsh was responsible for developing and overseeing the corporate technology strategy and leading key technology transformation programs. He also oversaw the IT Transform functions, which include the Business Solutions Group, Technology Architecture, Enterprise Architecture and Data Strategy.

Prior to joining Horizon BCBSNJ in 2015, Walsh served at two other Blue Cross Blue Shield companies, as VP and Chief Architect at Excellus BCBS and as Chief Architect and Director of Data and Integration Services at HealthNow New York Inc. Prior to joining the health care industry, Walsh held technology leadership roles in the telecom industry as CTO with Callfinity and in the financial services industry at Fidelity Investments.

A native of Ireland, Walsh holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications from the University of Limerick.
