Nigel Underwood

Nigel Underwood is the Director of Blue Double U and CXO Value.

Underwood founded Blue Double U in the 1990’s with his wife Anne, to pursue a portfolio career focused on investing in change.

Underwood has held Global CIO positions at a number of world-leading organizations including International Airlines Group (the merger of British Airways and Iberia) and DHL Logistics (Supply Chain Management & Global Freight Forwarding). At DPWN he led the Corporate Business Process Optimization project across the Group and was a member of the DHL Logistics Executive Board leading the IT Integration with Exel where he had previously been CIO for five years. Prior to joining Exel, Underwood was SVP, IT for the Hilton Group. His early career was spent with consumer goods companies Boots, Mars, and Coca-Cola Schweppes Beverages.

Underwood holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Nottingham University. He is a passionate supporter and Associate Director of Lincoln City Football Club.
