Rocky Martinez

Rocky Martinez holds the position of Senior VP for technology at Frontier Foundry and is the owner of RM Technology Systems. The team at RM includes Enterprise Architects skilled in design patterns, Data Systems Architects focusing on enterprise data solutions, Systems Architects specializing in high availability technologies, Security Architects with expertise in identity and security patterns, Network and Telecommunications Engineers with experience in robust telecommunications, and J2EE and .Net Development experts.

Before joining Frontier Foundry, Rocky served as the Chief Technology Officer of the Reference Data Utility and accumulated over 29 years of experience in financial technology. He has held senior leadership roles at various software companies catering to Fortune 500 companies, such as Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Allstate, Motorola, and consulting firms like Accenture and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Rocky’s focus revolves around driving digital transformation and creating opportunities for innovative products and services.

He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration from Rutgers University and holds an undergraduate degree from Fordham University and a Masters in Technology Management from Columbia University. Rocky is actively involved in developing disruptive digital services for the financial sector, particularly focusing on streamlining trade reference data through machine learning. He has also authored published articles and been featured in interviews. Additionally, Rocky hones his skills through his role as an Associate in Columbia’s University Technology Management Program at the School of Professional Studies.
