Sara Gori

Sara Gori is on the EIR team at R3i Ventures mentoring healthcare startups and is CEO of Goriatis Group currently establishing a premier reputation risk training and advisory firm.  She has 30 years of extensive experience in helping companies develop and execute stakeholder relations strategies, build robust communications programs, investor relations benchmarking and manage reputation risk and crisis communication management national, regional and global.

Ms Gori was formerly the Global Head of Reputation Risk Management at AXA where she held various roles notably spearheading the establishment of reputation risk management as a business function across a 50+ country footprint, and pioneering a comprehensive suite of services that extends beyond traditional communication, brand, and operational risk perspectives to cyber risk governance, digital asset risk transformation and reputation maturity assessments. Tools that have been developed and implemented include a centralized reputation risk framework, creation of a Reputation Risk Standard, the reputation risk maturity model assessments, and implementation of crisis communication management protocols.

Ms Gori passion for mentoring startups and supporting career growth in women, undergraduates and MBA students have led her to work with accelerators, present as a guest lecturer, industry expert, and create academic masterclasses and career related workshops with universities, including HEC, ESSEC and Trium.

Prior to AXA, Ms Gori worked in various accounting roles within the financial and entertainment industry along with a detour into telemarketing. Her educational background includes a BBA in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College along with certificates in Investor Relations. Ms Gori spent 10 years on the NIRI New York Chapter board spearheading Professional Developments events for the Investor Relations members, She is a constant learner acquiring professional development certifications in Negotiations at Harvard Law School and Artificial Intelligence at Section.
