Siby Vadakekkara

Siby Vadakekkara is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Marlabs, a software services firm headquartered in New Jersey. Under his leadership, the firm grew from a three-employee startup in 1997 to over 2000 employees globally, with over $110 million in revenues. Marlabs is ranked number one in the application development category in CMP media’s Fast Growth 100, and is also rated as one of the “Ten software experts you should know.” The company was also recognized as one of the “50 Best Places to Work in New Jersey.”

Mr. Vadakekkara was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and was the sole inductee in the INC Magazine “INC 500 Hall of Fame” in 2006, for having made the INC 500 list five times. He was awarded the Fortune Business Magazine “Best Boss” distinguished finalist award in 2006.

Mr. Vadakekkara holds an M.S. in Engineering from Texas Tech University and a B.S. in Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum in India. He has completed various executive education programs, including the YPO Harvard Presidents Program.

He is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Potomac Officers Club, and is a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE). He has mentored several startups as part of the TIE mentoring program and also mentored M.B.A. students at Harvard as part of the YPO/HBS mentoring program.
