Subroto Mukherjee

Subroto is a global leader in digital transformation, innovation, and emerging technologies with over 20 years of experience; currently the Chief Strategist at FutureGlobalTech, a digital transformation boutique advisory firm. Before his current role at Microsoft, Mr. Mukherjee was Head of Innovation for GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Health, Americas. Within GSK, his primary responsibility is to expedite digital innovation by leveraging emerging technologies, applying AI and machine learning, design thinking, gaming, automation, and immersive technologies (AR/VR/XR) to drive innovation.

Mr. Mukherjee has been a strategic advisor to CxOs and has led executive briefings and conferences. He was also a guest speaker for the EMBA program at Cornell University and the MBA program at the Nigeria University of Technology Management. He judged the UPenn Tech Venture class. He is also a strategic advisor to GSK’s Shopper’s Science Lab’s (SSL) Digital Test and Learn Incubator platform. SSL encourages commercial testing with retailers and shoppers for “beyond the pill” and digital medicine initiatives by exploring new business models, self-care coaches, and connected devices/Internet of Things (IoT).

Mr. Mukherjee was the managing principal of Enterprise Systems Integration for Verizon Enterprise Group. He led turnkey value-driven enterprise products and solutions in collaboration technologies such as cloud solutions, computer telephony integration, mobile enterprise application development, IoT solutions, and self-service applications.

Mr. Mukherjee holds an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University and educational certificates from NYU. He is also currently continuing an Innovation and Entrepreneurship program at Harvard University.
