Sundi Balu is the Co-Founder and CTO of a XpertiseNow, and AI enabled start up focused on disrupting management consulting.

Recognised by Hong Kong and Asian IT Telecoms and Media as a leading technology innovator, Mr. Balu is a dynamic leader, zealous problem solver and pragmatic decision maker. His career achievements are attributable to his dedication, long-term vision and passion for helping businesses grow. Mr. Balu has over 25 years of experience in several functions of IT and consulting and has held many senior level technology roles in international telecommunications and financial services companies. He is an inspirational technology innovator committed to maximising business value through the use of technology.

In his previous role as CIO of Telstra Enterprise and International based in Hong Kong, Mr. Balu was responsible for defining business unit level IT strategy, managing a cumulative technology $750M budget, leading software engineering, leading global teams, digital transformation programs and technical thought leadership. He successfully co-led a $500M digital transformation for the B2B business in Australia and a $60M business transformation for Telstra Global across 15 countries, improved the way 1000 software engineers work across geographies to deliver a 30% reduction in time taken to launch new business capability. Mr. Balu has led technology based innovative productivity initiatives with cumulative multiyear benefits of $70M and has also spearheaded cultural transformation through the adoption of Agile, DevOps and Cloud technology, delivering a 40% improvement in time to market for product development.

Mr. Balu holds an M.B.A. from the Melbourne Business School and an M.S. in Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
