Ursula Soritsch-Renier

Ursula Soritsch-Renier currently serves as the Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) of Saint-Gobain and is a member of the Supervisory Board at Software AG.

She is the former Group CIO and Digital Leader of Nokia. Prior to Nokia, Ms. Soritsch-Renier was the Group CIO and Group Digital Leader of Sulzer, a Swiss global manufacturing company. At Sulzer, she focused on leading cross-divisional and cross-functional business teams towards Sulzer’s digital transformation, increasing revenue through value-added services. In addition, she established one global Sulzer IT out of previously decentralized Divisional IT to provide agility and speed to adapt business constantly to market situations.

Ms. Soritsch-Renier started her career at a software startup before joining Royal Philips Electronics in 1995. From 1995 until 2009, she held various assignments for Philips in Austria, Belgium, Netherlands and USA in and outside of IT. From 2009 until 2013, she served as Global Head of IT Strategy, Sourcing, Project Management as well as Enterprise Architecture at Novartis in Cambridge, USA before joining Sulzer.

Ms. Soritsch-Renier holds an M.S. in Philosophy and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Vienna and a B.S. of WIFI from the College for Economics in Austria. She was awarded Swiss CIO of the year in 2014.
